Loved this place. Just out of town next to the golf course. Friendly staff and spacious sites.
One of a kind. Fun and close to trails.
It has a great swimming hole for the kids.
Nice quiet campground, nicely maintained, nice staff. None of the sites are paved, but there is gravel, and I think the ground is pretty firm. There are some pull-through sites, and a few 50 amp sites, and all of the sites have water and electric, but no full hookups (except possibly the seasonal sites...) There is a small playground, but just across the footbridge is a golf course, park (including a larger playground), swimming area, and picnic pavilions which have electricity. We've stayed here several times, and the only time it wasn't quiet was when we unknowingly came during Freedom Fest. Also, the high school is very close, so it might be noisy for a football game, but that's just a guess.
Very clean, I like the swimming area and right next to a golf course.
Always a nice place to stop. The park is always clean and we'll kept. The bathrooms are nice, and shelters are in great condition.
Very good small course for the area! Would recommend!
The best 9 hole course around. I call it the mini- Augusta. Tall pines, 2 terrific par 3 holes. Course is well maintained. Love this course
The beach is awesome...water is a bit chilly.
We didn't golf but the park was very clean and nice.
Although I have never golfed here, the course looks well maintained. The greens look great, and the fairways are well kept.
Courses in very good shape, fairways trimmed well rough appropriate greens roll true. Clubhouse manager friendly and helpful.
Great (9) hole course! Camping across the creek.
Nice, well kept, family campground. Great for family reunions! Camp on one side of the river, picnic and golf course on the other.
Awesome. Pierz golf course is a hidden gem in central Minnesota. The management and staff of the course are outstanding and make everyone feel very welcome. Hole #4 is one of the most challenging Par 3's you can ever play. I also want to ad how impressed I was with lack of bugs on course.
I truly enjoy this unique, beautiful and adequately challenging golf course for a semi-novice hacker. Walking nine holes is just the right amount of exercise a individual needs to endure on a somewhat hilly round. Your legs feel like they got a workout. Staff are always nice, fair and helpful Did I mention the food, excellent hamburger basket. The funny thing about all this, is that I have no affiliation with this municipal golf course, I just really enjoy playing it. Daniel and the staff are making great improvements to the course every year - Great job guys!
Small town camping is the best! We have gone the same weekend for over 40 years. The river has a swim area and slides. There are two parks and nice bathrooms. Lots of space and flexibility to enjoy yourself. A big bonus there is a golf course located right there too. Affordable and fun. Worth your time. You can swim in the dam too. Kids love that.
Great location with easy access to the provilian. Well kept up and clean bathrooms. Plenty of places for kids to play.
Had a great time and honestly was shocked at what a great golf course they have tucked in there!
I grew up here! There is so much to do, golf, swimming, two play grounds and fresh air!
Nice place, quiet location right outside town near golf course
Good prices family-oriented nice friendly place
Beautiful secluded course 9 holes
Amazing beauty, challenging and diverse course. Love it!
